About Emily

Emily McGehee

Emily McGehee, LMT graduated from Baker College in Jackson Michigan in 2017 and became licensed the same year. Growing up Emily knew she wanted to follow in her parents footsteps in the medical world. After an unfortunate episode of nearly fainting at the sight of blood, Medical School was taken off the table.

In 2017 Emily obtained her BSBA in International Business from The Catholic University of America. She came home to Michigan for what was meant to be a brief stint in managing the finances for the family medical practice. She got a rude awakening into the world of small business in a corporate world and felt the tug once more that she was meant to help people in their health journeys.

Still not a fan of blood, Emily looked into the thing that has helped her through 20+ years of migraine headaches and many years of competitive sports, Massage Therapy. Emily loves to help people feel their best in whatever physical challenges or pains they may face. Due to her history of migraine headaches

Emily is passionate about helping those with issues of the head, neck, and shoulders. Emily is also a mom to 2 adorable little ones. Throughout both of her pregnancies Emily turned to massage therapy to aid the relief from aches and pains of a growing body as well as the side effects of hyperemesis gravidarum. Emily loves to help other moms pre and postnatal to feel the best they can throughout and after their pregnancies.

Emily has additional certifications in cupping therapy as well as training in Ashiatsu barefoot massage. She looks forward to helping you feel your best with massage therapy.

What My Clients Say

Jen is a highly professional, intuitive, and knowledgeable therapist. I’ve been her client for more than five years and can give her my highest recommendation.

Pete N

Jen gives a restorative massage that rejoins soul with body. Our 40's-year-old "children" who live in California all say she is the best they have experienced. They need specific athletic issues addressed; I just need standard deep tissue.

Deborah O

Jen has been providing me massage therapy to address a disc issue and its resultant sciatic nerve pain this fall. She is very knowledgeable about the anatomy and mechanics of motion, and exceptionally skilled at working through pain and tightness from different directions. I have improved steadily under her care, and will continue to seek her therapeutic massage even when I am back in regular "work-out" mode on my bike and in the pool.

Brian M

Jenn gives by far the best massage ever. She is so experienced and knowledgable, I always trust that she will give my body exactly what it needs. She is strong and has the best techniques. When I'm thinking of treating myself to a massage, I can't bring myself to go anywhere else since I know it won't be as good.

Carrie B

I've been seeing Jen for the past 5-6 years and I love her. There are so many things I appreciate, from her warm welcome to the beautiful surroundings to the responsive therapy. Jen has an excellent understanding of anatomy, so she has this innate ability to find and work out problem areas. Her deep tissue and Thai massages are both amazing. Make an appointment with her--you won't regret it!

I would recommend anyone to go see Jen for therapeutic massage...she is very knowledgeable and very in tune with her clients...I would see her once a week if I could.
